To all who represent me and my family in Washington,
I want all of you to listen to the people. A large majority of people that I have spoke to do not want a government run Health Care System. Also it is amazing to me how when you talk about what the people want you only use the poles that fit your agenda.
The insurance industry is a huge employer in this country and everyone I have spoke to feels that with a government run Health Care System jobs would be lost and eventually the private insurance option. Also, hiring government employees to run the Health Care System WILL cost the tax payers more. We are already taxed to the limit.
I do not want a government pannel deciding who gets what medical tests or treatments. Government should not be alowed to make those types of personal decisions and I feel that this is where this issue is going.
If you want reform (which I do feel is needed) then figure out a way of regulating cost other than a government takeover. Making government even larger than it already is shouldn't be the answer you come up with. With proper regulating the market will figure it out.
Lastly, stop trying to tell the American people that a government run Health Care System won't increase taxes or that it has already been paid for. Paid for with what? We are broke! Figure it out. When the checking account is empty you need to stop writting checks and quit using credit cards. Moving balances from one credit card to another doesn't pay them off! Pretty simple economics why do none of you get it?
