Meetings on the health care overhaul bill be open

Rep. Gerry Connolly

November 2, 2009

Honorable Representative Gerry E. Connolly (D-VA 11th) : H.Res. 847

Please vote yes for this bill H.Res. 847. We are entitled to free speech by our Constitution. It is also a privilege and a law as well as a constitutional right. I would like to know the exact reason that the bill is being worked on in secrecy anyway! I would like you to ask that question! Let us, the voters, decide whether to be present or not; but do it in the open so we have a choice. This is not the actions of a Democracy-but of a socialist government!

If we permit others to exclude anyone at all, we are in great danger of losing all of our constitutional rights and privileges. Please stand up for all of us! I represent a very large group of citizens, Federal Government Employees as well as their families and most all Republicans who love God and Country. Please convince others also to vote for our freedom to know what is being voted on and how it is done as well as who is doing the voting that goes against our contitutional laws.

I will be at the Capitol to meet you on Thursday 11/5/2009.

Woodbridge , VA
