Pork Project Spending

Rep. Ralph Hall

November 2, 2009

I note with considerable displeasure that CAGW has recognized Sen. Kay Hutchison as Porker of the Month for October. It seems that she has inserted 149 Prork Barrel Projects valued at $1.6 Billion Dollars into the Fy 2010 Appropriations Bills. All of this has been done while she claims to be a fiscal conservative and continues to blast other Congressional members for excessive spending. The Congress needs to esatablish rules that all earmarks are banned. "A Balance Spending With Revenue" policy must be installed in the Congress!!!!
