Last week my husband's unemployment ran out and there are no jobs in Cleveland Ohio for a 63 yr old. I am still collecting unemployment and we are not sure how we will be able to pay our bills this month. We have been discussing bankrruptcy which I hate that to be our option. We live in a 55 seniors community (Columbia Park) and love it and the thought of losing our house makes me ill. I am 57 yrs and have been laid off twice in the last 3 yrs. I scanned 717 jobs and was only able to post my resume on 3 of them. I have 30+ yrs in collections, AR, AP, Cash appl, training. I have attended classes at the employment office here in Cleveland Ohio, took all the tests, attended how to interview, writing resumes, proper way to apply for jobs, the program was great but I'm still unemployed so where are all these stimlus jobs everyone keeps talking about. I have been on more interviews than I can count.I think congress needs to stop dragging their feet on this extension and put it through as soon as possible.
