Editing Pelosi's bill

To:
Sen. Herbert Kohl
Rep. Paul Ryan
Sen. Russ Feingold

October 30, 2009

As a pro-life citizen, I adamantly oppose any bills mandated coverage of, and funding for, abortions - thus forcing me to pay for abortions through my tax dollars. As a taxpaying citizen, I am outraged that my tax dollars would be used for a murderous act to which I am morally opposed.

I am also outraged with House Speaker Nancy Pelosis strong-arm tactics to silence the voices of pro-life legislators and by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reids closed-door crafting of his own version of ObamaCare. These schemes eliminate the opportunity for public debate and scrutiny, which is tyrannical and flies in the face of our legislative process.

I like Paul Ryan's idea for a federally funded plan for the poorest and indigent citizens who cannot afford to buy health insurance. Everyone should be free to choose their own doctor and procedures. No one can
be compelled to purchase anything as the Constitution doesn't empower Federal or states to enforce that, and would be a civil rights issue of major proportion, to fine or incarcerate people who can't pay for insurance.

And I would also like to see a clause that prohibits the government from enforcing ANY type of treatment that a citizen objects to on moral, philosophical or religious grounds, including but not limited to FORCED VACCINATIONS! Also DO include the right to self-quarantine, no forced relocations due to "declared" emergencies!

Please, take a step back, and time to think; oppose any forthcoming health care reform plan containing an abortion mandate. Furthermore, give the American people as much time as necessary to see these bills and to understand what government-run health care will do to our nation and individual freedoms. I do seriously believe that apart from social programs helping the disposessed, this healthcare bill violates and over-reaches the powers granted to Congress by the Constitution
