Isn't it enough that, as estimated by the CDC, the United States has about 1 million people with HIV. Now, with the Presidents lifting of the ban on people with HIV/AIDS coming into the United States we will have more. Estimates say we will be spending 3 Billion dollars on HIV/AIDS by 2013. How much more will be be spending if we import HIV/AIDs infected people?
As evidenced by the furor over health care we already have a lot of problems with our current system. How many more problems will we have if we decide to import more health risks?
When will the craziness stop? The United States can only do so much for its current residents. Now we are importing more people to be responsible for. It is also rumored that we are going to give illegal aliens monetary assistance regardles of their status or criminal record.
I hope that more of We The People's representatives will start taking responsibility for our country and stop marching in lock step with current policies.
