Subject:
H.Res. 847 - meetings on the health care overhaul bill be open.
To: Rep. David Price
October 29, 2009
Dear Representative Price,
All hearings and text regarding the health care bill should be open and readilly available to all Americans. This issue is too important to the American people to be resricted to behind the scenes and secretive discussions. I am appauled that Americans cannot be privy to the text of the bill for a reasonable amount of time before Congress votes on it. I also think it is not Democratic to have the bill authored behind closed doors.
You and the rest of Congress need to be open and forthright about all content, procedings, and discussions relative to all legislation. The failure of my representative to back truth, transparency, and due process will leave me no choice but to seek better representation in the next election. i believe a significant number of American's share my opinion.
Thanks for your attention to this serious matter.
