Legal Corruption

Because it takes a lot of money to get elected to public office, our legislatures are not always guided by what is best for most Americans. To get elected and to stay in office requires contributions from big business.
I don't know if it is true, but I heard on a talk show that Senator Lieberman and his wife have gotten quite a few benefits from health insurance and drug companies. This is legal corruption.
I don't know how we can change the system so that the middle class gets more consideration.
