Representative Schmidt,
I live within your district and just wanted to send you a note thanking you for your NO vote on this bill. Spending scarce dollars to have some entity determine the best way to proceed on an emerging technology is a waste of money. The best way for emerging technology to progress is to let the free market identify the winners and loosers based on the capitalist system. It has worked very well in the past for the US and will in the future if government just gets out of the way.
Thank you for protecting our most charished right. The right to be free to succeed or fail in the market place.
