I have worked in Information Technology for more than 25 years and have seen many of these jobs go off-shore or to contract labor so that companies can avoid the high cost of healthcare. I have been forced to take contract positions and finding insurance at any cost, has been a challenge although I am very healthy.
I believe that for Amercian companies to compete in the new world economy we must have a public option or a single payor system.
