I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THAT YOU ARE NOT ON THAT COMMITTEE. YOU AN PELOSI NEED TO GET SOCIAL SECURITY OUT OF THE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE AND GET IT TO THE FLOOR AND GET IT PASSED IF YOU CANT DO THIS THAN GET THE HELL OUT OF OFFICE THAT WILL EASE SOME OF THE CORRUPTION WE HAVE,
Since the cost of living "hasn't increased', Social Security recipients will not see and increase in their benefits.
I wonder how many in congress refused their automatic annual increase in their salary. If senior citizens don't get an increase, then in my opinion neither congress or senate should.
This cost of living indicator is erroneous. My water/sewer bill is up, my telephone is up, my food bill is up amid I suspect my Medicare will be going up in January thus reducing my social security income.
I don't know what your indications of the American feeling about how the government is doing. but the people I come in contact with are very disappointed with what is going on in Washington.
