We need a public option. Private insurance companies are like bankers, when choosing between their fat bonus & the expensive medical treatment that I might need to survive. It's me or them in their rule book.
Medicare & Medicaid are in the financial problems they are today because they are carrying all the people who are denied care by their insurance companies when the care exceedes the premiums. Forcing the public to spend all of their savings & loose their homes trying to get well & end up on Medicaid.
Private insurance has been like a runaway train dropping anyone who's healthcare exceeds the premiums. You are all smart people and you know very well that Private insurance could offer better coverage for less money.
When & if there is a public option you will see that Private insurance will reduce rates & still be in business. If you won't admit it, that is a clear that you are receiving kickbacks at our expense.
