Bring all our troops home now

I am 60 years old and I have watched our country over and over again go into wars and support corrupt governments under the guise of national security and/or freedom for the people.
We have yet to get it right and it is not because we don't care or believe our words of freedom. . . . but because our partners in the countries, the "leaders" of the indigenous people of that country, don't themselves care or believe.
So, we get involved, we send our sons and daughters and they die so others can have our freedom . . but in the end it is a lie. Our sons and daughters die so the leaders of those countries can line their pockets with our tax dollars . . . so those indiginous people in power can stay in power at the cost of the the very people we wish to liberate and help. Those in power skim the money we send and give it to their friends and family, so when (and it is always a when not an if) the bottom falls out and those in power are over thrown they skip their "beloved" country and set up new digs with their swiss bank accounts. The corrupt leave as rich people and we the United States are hated for supporting the corrupt and breaking our promises of helping the people. Freedom must be gained by those people on the ground . . . for their people, by their people and of their people. We cannot free a country or a people by ourselves. If the people of the country wont help, if the other world governments don't help, then we must leave. It isn't that freedom is not a good idea . . . freedom is always best . . . but even good ideas must have their right time and now is not the time.
Leave Iraq . . Leave Afghanistan . . bring our people home. End the wars now.
