Health Care Reform Bills / Transparency

Dear sir,
I feel very strongly that there needs to be extremely clear transparency on any bill, but even more so on one that will impact not only the US economy but rather the very structure and fabric of health care services in this country. We do not need to rush anything , especially with economy as it is and weakening in spite of false reports of recovery being circulated by main stream media and the administration, two wars where we are allowing our achievements in Iraq to erode as well as dithering away while our troops are being killed daily without any plan or direction from Washington. I am a former small business entrepreneur that built a highly profitable business from nothing to where we sold it to a major National corporation that seen the merits thereof. When you have a system that satisfies and takes excellent care of 85% of the people, you don't destroy it for the sake of trying to satisfy the 15%, you work diligently to solve the issues associated with that segment of the population. That being said, the 12-15 million that are truly uninsured due to no fault of their own could easily be corrected without impacting the best system in the world. If the critical issues are as is being represented, (albeit constantly shifting), we can accomplish all of those goals without recreating a system destined for bloated , wanton bureaucracy and cost over runs , as well as rationing of care, and huge amounts of inherent fraud as exists now in Medicare and Medicaid. I can't even fathom the amount of fraud that will be perpetrated with a bloated program of this proportion, as the Federal government cannot do anything anywhere near efficiently as the private sector. To increase competition a government option is NOT the answer, as all that will do is force all private companies to participate in a market that is not controlled by normal economic models, practices as the government option will not only operate at a break even or surplus, but will take immense government "cash" infusions to cover the shortfalls every year, just like the Post Office , and even worse Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and soon to be the next disaster, FHA. Set up tax credits for people who cannot pay, open competition across state lines, and implement reasonable tort reform and the system will meet all issues facing it without the growth and intrusion of BIG government into our personal lives anymore that they already are.
Sincerely,
Michael Jordan
