The government should stay out of the health insurance business entirely. I am a Medicare recipient but this program could have been much better and less costly if it were handled by the private sector. Medicare is or will be bankrupt and nothing is being done about it other than to ignore it and hope the problem will go away until current office holders are out of office.
The government is not capable of running anything larger than a lemonade stand. Keep the government out of it. No public option.
If the Federal Government wants to do something useful, stop the Medicare fraud.
