As the national debate over health care reform continues, I am even more convinced that a public insurance plan should be part of the solution. Nothing else being discussed offers a real cost control mechanism. Cost is the 300 lb. gorilla in this argument. Any solution which does not adddress cost in a meaningful way will be a failure.
