I am deeply opposed to any government program as we have too much interfernece from the Federal government in our lives as it stands now. the public optionm issue is one of enormous consequences. STOP NOW. If the federal goverment would do a better job of polcing the misuse by illegal alieans, fraud in medicare, and health care, misuse of the social security system, birthright of illegals children, and all the multitude of goverment waste we could have our countyr back again, and our health care and legal needs could be met without further government interference. Get out of our lives and do something about the misuse of programs and goverment waste of taxpayer dollars. Deal wiht the most critical issue facing our nation right now. The stimulus package is a waste. This is a consumer based economy and unitl people are working it makes no sense to thorw biloions of dollars at the banks, at the car manufacturers, or fiorst time hoe buyer credits as if the masses aer not working they cannot buy. Y9ou should have issued tax credits to all business large and small alike and tied it to employment retention and hiring because if people aer working they will spend and buy. Take the RTC off the shelf for all teh bad real estate mortages and loans and underwater housing and commercial. Get the banks to dump teh bad assets, and use the short sale doollars to reemploy their captial inot good solid loans. that will bring back the economy fastrer than anything wiht people working.
