Representative Price,
I, as an INDEPENDENT voter have the following sentiments on the Healthcare Reform Bill. It needs to have some form of Public option,
to hold the feet of the insurance companies to the fire. It needs to
have the insurance market opened such that the insurance companies must compete across ALL the states. It must have financial constructs such that the financial burden across all impacted groups is kept to a minimum. ( Its a great idea but who pays for it?) It must be strictly applied to those who are here legally in the US. This MUST be accompanied by STRINGENT VERIFICATION of legal presence. The debate before vote must be open to public scrutiny. A period of 15 days must be allowed for public comment before it can take effect.
