Where the country is heading`

To:
Rep. Steve Scalise

October 27, 2009

I am very concerned about the direction our country is taking on health care and other issues.

It seems that there is an overwhelming number of people who disagree with the President, the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority leader as to the direction the nation should take on health care.

I am one of the people who disagree with the three afore named people.

I feel that if members of Congress and Government officials want to have a national health care program (socialized medicine) then there should be no benefits for the members of the house or the senate and they must fall under any plan that they come up with.

I feel that there are too many members of Congress who only think in terms of what can I do to get elected again and they do not have to fall under the laws they pass.

It would be a travesty if any Congress passes laws that they do not fall under.

Therefore, any national health care program that congress creates, they should have to fall under as their health care program.,

I appreciate the job you are doing in Congress and keep up the good work.
