1) please do all you can to encourage your colleagues to do something quickly to plug the 2010 hole in estate taxes, so the treasury does not lose billions. I have heard/seen nothing in the news media about this reform. Has anything been done?
2) On health care reform, please remind the leadership that it does NOT need 60 votes for a desired bill. It needs them ONLY against a filibuster. Can it not hold people to the party line re: a filibuster with the argument that the U.S.public deserves a vote on this after one hundred years of dithering? Then let them vote their conscience on the specifics of the bill.
