Dear Speaker Pelosi;
I am writing this letter knowing that you will not respond to my requests to completely end this idiocy of Health Care Reform. This whole mess is dishonest on the face of it. It is not properly thought out, nor is it economically feasible. This whole thing is a disaster waiting to happen as it will absolutely destroy the very best health care system in the world. It will raise taxes on the middle class, on small businesses, and create a bureaucratic mess the likes of which we have never seen. This whole thing is a confused mess, and it needs to be scrapped and we need to start over. Only this time WE THE PEOPLE should be informed properly, and included in the legislative process.
There has not been adequate transparency, nor has there been proper representation for WE THE PEOPLE. There is no clarity, it is all a big sham, and it is ruinous to the total of our economy. I do agree that we do need to reform Health Insurance, that we do need to provide for those who have no insurance and need it. NO PERSON should ever be denied health care for any reason when it is needed. However, we need simplicity and directness in our legislation. We need to enhance the current system not destroy it.
We do need better oversight with our current government health care systems first. We should also insure that we audit the current systems, and sub-contract them our to private companies to run, but we should insure that there is intensive transparent oversight, and economic auditing. Do away with the fraud and waste in the current system before we try to build a new one. All this New Health Care proposal is Medi-care, and Medicaid on Steroids. This new proposed legislation is irresponsible and lacking in adequate economic and operational oversight and transparency.
PLEASE CHANGE YOUR MIND ON THIS MESS AND SCRAP IT ALL. START OVER WITH PROPER TRANSPARENCY AND DIRECT ACCOUNTABILITY TO WE THE PEOPLE.
