Health Care reform

Dear Gentlemen, we do need health care reform but not the kind your party is advocating. If you all are honest you would admit that the Federal Government has never done anything cost efficiently. Why would a public option be any different? This country cannot afford another huge entitlement program. Secondly, the majority of informed Americans (the ones that vote do not want the health care your party is trying to sell the American people. And, slowly but surely America is starting to wake up to what the president and the Democratic party are trying to do to this country, which is turn us away from the republic form of government our ancestors fought and died for and replace it with a socialist state run nation. I and many like myself (Independents) value our freedom enough to fight for it. We believe that all Americans deserve an opportunity to make a better life for themselves but not one of us are owed anything. If you folks want real reform and I doubt that you do, you would start with letting Americans buy insurance across state lines and you would push through the Congress and Senate tort reform. May I suggest that you start listening to the folks that elected you and that you become part of the solution instead of being a part of a new problem. (More bloated government). You may be Democrats but without us independents you could not have got elected. And it will be the independents like me joining forces with the Republicans that will end your impudent careers.
