HHS Awards $17 Million

To:
President Barack Obama
Rep. John Tanner
Sen. Lamar Alexander
Sen. Bob Corker

October 26, 2009

"Kathleen Sebelius has announced the award of $17 million to fund projects to fight costly and dangerous health care-associated infections, or HAIs. HAIs are one of the most common complications of hospital care. Nearly 2 million patients develop HAIs, which contribute to 99,000 deaths each year and $28 billion to $33 billion in health care costs. The most common HAI-causing bacteria is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA."
Just what the heck is she doing throwing more money away? This should have been approved through the appropriations committee. You must use your congressional powers to put a halt to this spending sspree that Obama and his buddies are on. America can not afford to keep spending money like there is no tomorrow. Are you all blind, deaf and dumb?? You are going to go down into history as either someone who helped to destroy America or as someone that battled to save her...which are you going to choose? From where I am sitting it looks as if all congress has decided to actively help Obama and his radical criminal lunatic friends to completely destroy America and her people. Stop spending money we don't have! Bring some commons sense back to our government and put a stop to all this spending!
