The flawed science of global warming has become political science. Oppose the Kerry-Boxer Cap and Trade Tax bill that is being rushed through Congress. Such an oppressive tax bill politicizes energy, and invites opportunities for government fraud and manipulation-all at the expense of the American people.
This bill is a very thinly disguised and massive energy tax that will destroy jobs, raise electricity and gasoline prices, and make America less competitive. Given the economic state of our nation, this bill should be roundly opposed and defeated-especially considering that a fast-growing majority of voters (57 percent) oppose cap-and-trade.
This is not the time to saddle Americans with a bill that experts are predicting will cost billions and potentially dry up millions of jobs over the next 20 years!
We urge you to stand with the American people who oppose the carbon tax plan.
