Student Loan Overhaul

October 22, 2009

The student loans should be revised. All I hear is, "get an education, etc...". Well, even with an education that does not mean that the majority will do well. Most well not, however, they come out with a hugh bill and forced by the economy and other circumstances are required to work below the student's education and skill capacity. The 35,000 jobs they claim may be lost, well, actually how many of those are life supporting jobs? How much of the money the student owes becomes "corporate" bonuses and entitlements to the big wigs? Most students may spend years trying to pay that bill. For nothing, and no return on the time and money invested. That interest money they are paying could be put to better use and by doing so may create a different job for those 35,000 people. They government is just making the banks rich off the poor people. Find out how many of those "educated people" really do make a better life. Less than the numbers tell. Like unemployment numbers, they leave a lot out. Looks good on paper until you really start with the right questions and find out the numbers are just that, numbers minus the real truth.
