Subject:
Limiting Officer Compensation At Firms Still On TARP Support
To: President Barack Obama

Rep. John Hall
October 22, 2009
Today, the news-wires reported that Mr. Obama's Czar on corporate pay and oversight of the TARP Money would severely restrict the salaries of the employees and, in particular, of the officers of all companies still on TARP Support.
To this I say.........
About time !!!!
Let the excess money be used to make more loans and to increase dividends.
I am not a big fan of Obama (sorry, Mr. President). But, this is one move I agree with (I do have to admit, Mr. Obama, you are kind-of growing on me, however)
If these "fat cats" want big pay - let them go to firms which are not publically traded. See how much pay a private firm will pay them.
Once again, Three Cheers for Obama and the Fed's. It is about time that Corporate Welfare came to an end !!!!!
Now, if only you would pass pay limits for the Officers and Employees of all publically traded firms.........
