I want my money back.
It's time for congress to take steps to ensure that the taxpayers recover 100% of the bailout money given to the banks and Wall St. firms. The plan to limit executive compensation is only the first step: With record profits in the financial sector and the Dow over 10,000 it would be negligent to allow any of the $700 billion of taxpayer money to go unrecovered.
We're counting on you to help protect the ordinary working folks who have had to pay for this mess. Please don't let us down.
