While I realize the House Resolutions are like bells — they both have a wonderful sounding ring when struck, but are hollow and have no lasting effect — I would encourage you to support, if not co sponsor, H.CON.RES. 201 'To establish the Joint Select Committee on Earmark Reform, and for other purposes.' Abundant Republican support doubtless will doom it to defeat, however it will stake out a nice position on higher ground for the Mid-Term Election battle.
