H.R. 3789

To:
Rep. Frank Wolf

October 20, 2009

HR 3798 would allow passengers on Amtrak to transport guns in their checked baggage.

Are you kidding me? I grew up in PA and DE where you cannot transport liquor across state lines - yes, try buying liquor cheap in DE and cross the state line on I-95 and watch the state troopers pull you over quick. and YET we'd actually consider something wholly more dangerous like a gun?

I have no problems with guns for hunting. You want to hunt, go nuts. Unfortunately, that's not what the Gloch handgun at VT is used for. It was specifically designed to kill people as are all handguns and AK 47s, etc. NO you cannot bring a firearm for KILLING people onto ANY public transport!

C'mon guys, use your common sense. This is a complete waste of your time and MY money. Knock it off.
