Mr. Perriello-
Please do everything you can to ensure that the First-Time Homebuyer's Credit is extended through 2010. My husband and I are building a new home, and while we will probably close on the construction loan prior to the current deadline, we won't have an occupancy permit before then. My motivation for writing you is primarily personal, but we need to encourage people like ourselves to move forward, take the risk of owning a new home in this current climate, so we can all be part of the solution.
