Healthcare reform, plus

We have read many of the articles on Healthcare reform and like it less each day! We believed that the Baucus Bill while in the Finance Committee, was on the right track, but not strong enough in providing for financing. Now of course, we know that the back-room deals with the healthcare industry made months ago, would prevent completely financing any reform bill. So, you instead will fund it off the backs of taxpayers while allowing the industry, again, to "contribute" their way out. Taxpayers, whom polls say a majority of, do not support your plan! Where is the cost reform promised? It is these rising medical care costs that taxpayers and subscribers find objectionable, not their healthcare. But, you have allowed Pharmaceuticals, AMA, Lawyers, SEIU, and even AARP, etc., to predict the terms of any reform.
This bill will NOT be deficit neutral as the President has promised. In fact, it will probably add much to our deficit as Leader Harry Reid predicts on the Senate floor a healthcare bill costing $2 Trillion.
Now we hear the "doctor fix" will cost $245 Billion, and will be dealt with separately. And, this will not be the end as the full House and Senate get their hands on it. We cannot and do NOT support any healthcare plan that does not address the "cost" issue first!

We have been reading that the Census is spending $326 Million in a marketing plan which outspends any previous Census. WHY? We don't have money to spend now. We also read on roll call where you voted to place a hold on amendment that would have required the Census to ask immigration status. WHY? And, you voted to continue funding sanctuary cities therefore, aiding the harboring of illegal aliens. WHY? We understand that NY will lose seats, but we also want States such California, Texas to NOT gain representation and federal funding because of counting aliens. We don't want our vote diluted any further!
We have read that the Obama Admin is using federal funds to push volunteerism. BUT, this volunteerism steers you unfairly to organizations that support AMNESTY! Organizations that even support illegal aliens jobs. This is wrong! When will you in Washington realize this?
