Dear Congressman Issa,
We need you to urge President Obama to nominate members of The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. We are in crisis with First Amendment rights, with the right to assemble, with privacy rights under attack as never before. You can truly be a representative of the people by using your influence to urge the President to nominate members of The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board who will help safeguard our precious liberties grossly eroded under the Bush Administration. We also need Congress to create an investigatory Commission to conduct a thorough accounting of National Security policy and its systemic flaws. We need to know what has gone wrong with our policies in fighting the War on Terror and what remedies are needed to restore the rule of law in our surveillance policy etc.
