First it was health insurance, now its pesticides. Why are they in the pocket of all these industries? Do they honestly believe they can regulate themselves? It hasnt worked before and it wont work now.

The Office of Management and Budget has decided to place pesticide safety tests in the hands of the manufacturers of those products. Naturally a companies own studies will be biased in their favor.

As we've known for a long time, pesticides adversely affect the endocrine systems of human beings- in particular developing children and infants in the womb. Most at risk are baby boys. You can see the results of endocrine system disruption in all areas of our environment - the decline of fertility, sperm counts and in actual numbers of males in general. And endocrine disruptors lead to more intersex individuals in animal and human populations. Endocrine disruptors have also been linked to cancer because our endocrine system regulates hormones and we often see reproductive cancers as a result.

Even products such as Round up, whose manufacturers represent as "safer than coffee" have been linked to cancer and hormonal changes. I myself had a pesticide license and I will not spray because I am scared to death over the damage I will inflict on the population.

Tell the Office of Management and Budget that pesticide companies studies cannot suffice. We need independent analysis.
