Dear Leaders:
Please remember our country is nothing when we attack the most vulnerable. The reason stated for not raising COLA is not base on the reality of what is occuring daily. Prices are increasing on many of the basic necessities, particularly food and utilities. While these increases are occuring, most senior citizens living on a fix income are stretch to the limit trying to survive. They need to receive the COLA.
In these harsh economic times, it is important that everyone, espcially our elected officals, tighen their belts. Lets not tighten the belts of those that have so little already.
