As my representative I want to know why you have not signed House Resolution 554? The people who you represent (as well as every member expected to vote on a resolution or a bill) deserve the opportunity to thoroughly read every resolution before it is voted on. When President Obama was elected we were promised the most open and transparent house and senate in the history of the United States. So far, all we've seen is the most exclusionary, partisan politics of my lifetime. Quite frankly, it is absolutely disgusting. I have never been active in politics in my life, but please believe me when I say I will campaign long and hard against any of my representatives who do not sign House Resolution 554.
