This Socialized Health Care bill is not an option and makes me sick.
Forcing Americans into socialized health care or risk prison? Is this the United States that my forefathers envisioned more than 200 years ago? My family has served in every war from the French and Indian War through to the Vietnam War. This healthcare bill is a farce and an outrage.
Allowing Senator Reid to write his own version of health care reform and introduce it to the Senate floor without public scrutiny IS AN UNACCEPTABLE LEGISLATIVE PRACTICE. What a contemptable practice to foust onto the unsuspecting American public.
I reject and strongly oppose any and all forms of government-run health care-from the so-called "public option," to the unconstitutional mandate that would force citizens to purchase insurance or risk prison! This is totally unamerican!
This is not the country my forefathers died to protect. Not when lawmakers callously toss aside the U.S. Constitution. This has less to do about fixing a health care system and more about increasing government power and control over my life!
I cannot bring myself to tolerate such action, and urge you to continue to oppose any and all forms of government-run health care plans that ignore the constitution and force me, or my family to comply! This includes the underhanded actions of other senators who it is suggested are trying to sneak the bill through disguised as something else.
Please know that I am carefully watching your actions on this bill.
