Health care reform

Dear Sir;
As you and your colleagues push for health care reform remember that there is a difference between health care and health care insurance.
My wife is a pediatric nurse for Chrtstus Santa Rosa Childrens Hospital downtown here in San Antonio. Many children in her care do not have health insurance and they receive the best care there is. How is that happening without the government overhaul? You know the answer. The government and charities combine to provide funds for these children's care.
We ourselves have experienced needing help when our son took suddenly ill eleven years ago and we were uninsured. Medicaid helped to pay the cost and we were very relieved. My point is that there is help for those in need without this massive so called "reform".
I don't understand why the issue wasn't approached from that angle.
If Medicaid doesn't work then how will any other program?
A catastrophic umbrella and basic care clinics(charity and volunteer based with government funding) would provide for almost all needs without this massive attempt to change everything.
I managed my glaucoma for years without being fined for not having insurance I couldn't afford.
We now have insurance that we pay a lot of money for and can't afford for it to go up.
I got to tell ya that there are a lot of us out here who are tired of sing songy sophistry and drumm beating.
