Esteemed Government Officials and Mr. Obama,
If Obama passes this bill, he will have LIED (see below) on NOT raising taxes for anyone who makes UNDER $250K - guess he got it backwards... Oh oops...
From an August 2008 speech in Orlando, FL, he said (and verified an accurate quote): "And if you're a family making less than $250,000 a year, my plan won't raise your taxes one penny--not your income taxes, not your payroll taxes, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes".
However, and follow me here, the bill that PASSED the finance committee & is headed to the House for a vote is as follows:
- Making less than $50,000? Get your checkbooks out to the tune of $8.9 BILLION in increased taxes.
- Making less than $100,000? This will cost you almost $20 BILLION in increased taxes.
- Making less than $200,000? Slightly better at $17.4 BILLION!
Why are the "not rich but making it" families - Obama's zombies - footing 87% of the entire cost to ONLY cover 6 of the 30 million uninsured when he said they would never see an increase?!
I didn't realized Mao Tse-tung came back to life, but you better order extra handcuffs because the American people are NOT paying for this absurdity. That's the American spirit, isn't it? Throwing people in jail because you pass unconstitutional legislation forcing the middle class to pay for a program that doesn't work & based on a "president's" campaign promise which was a bold-faced lie?
Stop this insanity & pay attention to law-making that is actually constitutional for a democratic republic, not a socialist state.
