Please reject amnesty for illegal aliens.
Amnesties go farther than most incentives for illegal immigration because they legalize presence in the U.S. Amnesties reward illegal aliens with a pathway to U.S. citizenship. Millions of illegal aliens have been made part of the permanent, legal population of America since 1986. Amnesty does not solve illegal immigration but makes the problem worse.
Rather than rewarding illegal immigration, we should discourage it by removing the jobs magnet and enforcing our immigration laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
