I am disgusted with the ongoing process of the NMB AFA Delta Airlines Union Representation vote. We have been waiting for weeks to have this settled, and now the AFA and the NMB are trying to change the rules only for Delta Airlines midstream. In a true democratic election a true majority is the actual number of eligible voters. If the AFA wanted to have votes counted the way it is now done in congressional elections, we would have the opportunity to vote in or out a union every 2 years. The current system has served us well for 75 years. Now the NMB and AFA want to subject Delta Flight Attendants to minority tyranny. I have sent 2 requests to the NMB for clarification and to voice my objections and received responses equivalent to non sequitors. There is a procedure in place now. Let the NMB declare Delta Airlines a single entity for this vote NOW and use the procedures in place.
