I would prefer to see more stimulus going toward the remodeling sector. Encouraging homeowners who are able to afford remodeling projects to move ahead would impact a larger segment of the residential construction market because remodeling has been stalled for over a year now. There is pent-up demand, and America needs greener homes.
We have a foreclosure crisis still ongoing and a surplus of houses on the market due to foreclosures. Enough with stimulating building new ones.
