Shame, Shame, Shame on you Senator Grassley...Shame....Shame..Shame

To:
Rep. Leonard Boswell

September 29, 2009

Senator, I've tried to reach your Washington DC office several times to understand why you don't support health care reform and a public option health care plan. Your reason, according to an aid, is that you don't believe in government run health care . Well, Senator, Medicare is a public option plan for senior citizens and it benefits many. It would be financially solvent if congress (that's you Senator) didn't borrow from it. So, what's your real excuse? Is it that you prefer to give your vote for special interest (their lobbyist that you give in to) groups such as Insurance Companies and Pharmaceutical companies? Shame ! Shame !Shame.! on you Senator!!! I make a promise to you Senator, I will now change my party affiliation (this should have never been about party lines - it's about what the people need) and I will vote against you when you are up for reelection in Iowa. I will work tirelessly going door to door in rural Iowa (where you have most of your support) to help people understand why health care reform is needed and why a comprehensive public option plan is needed and more importantly I will inform people about WHY YOU VOTED AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF IOWA, VOTING FOR SPECIAL INTEREST SUCH AS INSURANCE COMPANIES AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES.

Des Moines , IA
