I propose that "No turn on Red" and a "Delayed Green Light" be implemented throughout the state of Maryland. On countless occasions I've seen pedestrians trying to walk on a green light as cars are steadily turning left or right nearly hitting them. I would like for our citizens and children to make it accross the streets safely without dodging flying cars who always seem to be in a hurry. "No Turn on Red" prevents cars from turning right so that pedestrians and children can walk safely across the street. "Delayed Green Light" would keep the light red for motorists while allowing a "pedestrian green light" for up to 30 - 60 seconds so that pedestrians can walk safely across the street. Thank You.
