The fees proposed in the "America's Healthy Future Act of 2009" would have adverse effects on life sciences companies of every size and type. Extracting revenue from life sciences companies would act as a tax on the entire industry. Promoting investment in innovative industries is critical to meaningful reform and economic recovery in California.
