Subject:
Censure of Joe Wilson

To:
Rep. Bob Inglis

September 22, 2009

Was disappointed in my Rep. Bob Inglis' voting yes on the censuring of Joe Wilson. Is he not aware of the many times Democrats have acted inappropriately, viz. Nancy Peloci calling those protesting goverment run health care "un-American" and other impertinent names as well as the Democrats' booing George Bush when he was president? I dream of the day when Republicans have the backbone to stand together in this "war" for power by the Democrats. This is the most dismal time in our history with the unthinkable things going on. We must stand together for a change or continue to lose. When have the Democrats EVER apologized? They even act astonished at being asked to apologize.
As Cal Thomas said in an editorial not long ago that the Democrats want power and fight to win while the Republicans place a priority on being liked. If the Rebublicans don't quit insisting on ideological purity, he continues, and let ideology guide our policies and band together to WIN we will lose and lose badly. Our ideology is no good to anyone if we don't get and stay elected to implement our ideology. Too often when the wrong methods and practices are put before what it takes to WIN, we are left over in the corner to play with our ideas while the socialist leaning Democratic party gets to try to implement theirs!
