Subject:
Congressman Joe Wilson insulting the President of the USA

To:
Rep. Darrell Issa

September 22, 2009

If the congessman from SC was unwilling to apologize to the other members of the House he should have been reprimanded publicly in the well of the chamber.

The rules are clear on this subject whether you like them or not. If he had disparaged a member of the US Senate you can bet that he would have been reprimanded and forced to apologize. The congressman from SC is a pig Mr. Issa.

When I looked at the website of the Sons of the Confederacy I was disgusted by their story. It was not a "war between the states", it was an insurection of a lawful national government. The Civil War has been described as a "War of Agression by the North against the South" which is also <profanity removed>.

When I was stationed in North Carolina and South Carolina and saw Confederate flags flying over public buildings I was insulted. I would have been equally insulted if I had seen an SS Panzer battle flag flying over public buildings in Germany after losing three cousins who went down in B-17 bombers over Germany in 1943 and one cousin in a B-24 during a raid on the Japanese Air Base on Yap on his 26th mission.

This is the kind of behavior that the hicks from the south got away with using the story about "States Rights" after the Civil War and not getting their knuckles rapped when they painted the white lines in the southern busses.

Your vote makes me think that you have way too much hostility to the president. I think your attitude is unhealthy, both personally and for my country.
