We need better education- especially civics and US history! In a recent
study, 97% of Oklahoma High School students would fail a US citizenship
test. 77% did not even know that George Washington was our nations 1st
president. An Arizona study had similar results. Our students need help
if they can't answer these questions about our government. Ignorance is
no excuse- they are being denied this information by their schools.
