After listening to President Obama's speech on health care, we in this household are more opposed to the Democratic Party's "reform" plan than ever. The speech covered nothing new, it just shuffled plan elements in new words and phrases of obfuscation and distortion to trick the American people into supporting the demise of the world's finest health care system.
We do not want nor will we support any government health care insurance plan, no single payer plan, or any cooperatives, or triggers, or any other disingenuous devices that lead to a government run "public plan" either immediately or over time. We will fight any plan that taxes our individual private insurance plans, or decides the quantity, quality, or expense of our privately funded health care.
We will fight against any plan to offer health care coverage to illegal aliens, or one that does not specifically prohibit them from care. We will fight any and all attempts to grant amnesty or citizenship to illegal aliens as a subterfuge to evade the will of the American people.
We will not support any plan that cuts 500 billion dollars from Medicare to transfer health care services to any other segment of the population. We will fight any plan that takes away private supplemental Medicare co-insurance. Nor will we support any plan that disregards the "best treatment" option for our seniors regardless of cost. President Obama has already publicly stated that the elderly have to sacrifice, to take pain pills instead of costly surgery, clearly demonstrating his malevolent intentions and moral bankruptcy.
We will not support any plan that will, of necessity ration care due to unsustainable cost to an already bankrupt federal government. Nor any plan that regulates physician training or compensation, any diversity plan for enrolment in medical schools, or one that dictates hospital construction, or delivery of services by faith based hospitals, or in any way interferes with privately funded medical research.
We do not trust President Obama, a demonstrated Socialist. We do not trust a corrupt partisan Congress that can not find enough time and concern to even read the bills it considers.
