Reforming the health care is a must. Adding the public option is like having a watchdog over the private insurance companies. It is like having your mother watch over you if you have too much cookie from the cookie jar. It is also a deterrent to health care providers and insurance providers to think thrice before socking Uncle Sam with too high a premium living off the sweat of the working poor. I work in a health care setting and everyday I come across sales reps of various health care related businesses urging workers to write to our elected officials in Wash D.C. to oppose this plan. This must be a good one because it galvanized the broad spectrum of the American public drawing lines thereby showing where they stand in this issue.
