Subject:
Prevention First Act

To:
Sen. Sherrod Brown

November 20, 2008

When the Prevention First Act comes up in the next Congress, please vote against it. Planned Parenthood does not need any more taxpayer money. The words they use hide the evil that they propose. Their teen website actually approves of teens using porn in place of having sex. Those who get addicted to porn--and there are many--have much worse problems than an unplanned pregnancy will cause.

Abortion is not the answer to anyone's problems. It only makes them worse. And there are many women--some that I know--who will attest to that. Our national abortion rate did not begin to go down until after the government began funding abstinence-only education programs. The Prevention First Act will only increase abortions and the problems that go with it.

I am keeping much closer track of my representatives and how they vote. Voting for the Prevention First Act and for continuing funding for Planned Parenthood will earn a "NO" vote from me when you are up for reelection.

I apologize if this is a duplicate message. I'm just learning the finer points of using this form.
